Example Update Aus:sicht

This is an example record of how an update is re-performed on the Live or Stage.

Basic update

• Follow the 9 steps in Update from 7.6 or lower and do it again on stage or live, but now use your updated composer.json instead of a blank system.

Backend changes

• Delete whole "Template" sysfolder with backend templates in it
• Remove TypoScript from backend root template (except UIDs in constants)
• In root template > Include > Include static (from extensions): select all you need
• Select PageTs (Resources > Page TSconfig), save, clear cache
• In page settings (Apperance > Page Layout), select Page Layouts for root and all subpages, and perhaps special pages like news or footer
• User extension ig_slug to create slugs for all pages

Replace old plugins (in a small project you can do this in the backend, for larger projects use a script)

• Remove zwbisdrei_video and zwbisdrei_youtube elements and replace with Textmedia (don't forget to add this in your frontend templates)
• Migrate tt_news to tx_news records and change the plugins
